Pinterest and Shopping - What fun!

So the latest coupon isn't really a coupon. It's my way of getting you familiar with some of the new tools I'm using. Here's the thing...Go to my website, Stamping On The Plateau, on the What's New 2014 page. Find the item you want to purchase. When you place the cursor on the image, a small PinIt icon appears. PinIt will place the image on Pinterest. (Hopefully you have an account. If you don't, you should. You will find so, so much inspiration. It's easy to do.)

THEN to get a 25% discount on that item you pinned, e-mail me to tell me you pinned it, the board you pinned it to, and give me more information like the color you want or whether you want a cling or wood-mounted stamp, etc. OR you could just post a comment giving me details. Your item will be ready for pick-up here in the store. There is a LIMIT of 5 items per person.

Have fun with this! Most of the coupons will be real coupons, but I thought this would be a fun way to learn your way around social media (and me, too). If you have fun with this, post a comment.

This discount is valid through May 17.

CHA 2014 Winter Show was stupendous!!!!

We did have a great time at the show. I have a few videos to show you, but I'll wait until the products arrive in the shop before posting the videos. In the meantime I'll post a picture of the show favorite. Who will be the first to guess his name?

I keep getting further and further behind in my video making and blogging. This week we had a special event. Our house was zapped with lightning which wiped out a computer, a printer, a TV, and our heating/air conditioning. I have been busy trying to get operational once again.  So this is just a quick message.

There are no videos this time around, but I did want to send you to a couple of spots. First of all, I know many of you have the Silhouette Cameo or Portrait. We have established a User Group for those of you interested. We video-taped the first meeting. It's on You Tube, but listed as Private so let me know if you would like to see our first meeting. And also if you are in the Crossville TN area, let me know if you would like to be added to the group. We try to exchange information and answer questions, and we will meet again in a couple of months.

Secondly, I was sent this URL from Boo Martin regarding a clever technique using the Gelli Plate. You should check this out...

Lastly, if you are in the Crossville area next Friday, May 31st, the Plateau Stampers Stamp Club is having a  Craft Yard Sale at 150 Trentwood Dr from 10 a.m. until about 2 p.m. I know I have tons of used stamps I'm bringing along with many punches. There should be 8 other ladies selling their used craft items. So make plans to go shopping with us. I will also have the shop open after the yard sale ends at 66 Chelteham Lane if you want to purchase some new items to go with your sale purchases.

Until next time...

REALLY?????

Has it really been this long since I've added a post? Do I ever feel badly about this! I will try to do something this week. I know Carol and I have been so busy preparing lots and lots of classes and stamping activities that we have not taken the time to do some more videos. Please forgive me. We will try to rectify this in the near future.

I just set up an account with Bloglovin. I hope it will keep me better informed on the blogs I enjoy reading.

Clearly For Art Modeling Film Technqiue

In one of my recent classes called Clearly For Art Stamping I provided an embellishment that was done for the class. Because it was a little difficult to follow my instructions, I will try to show everything that I did with this tutorial.  Please give me your feedback.

Emerging Color Technique

Here is the latest revived old technique. I noted on You Tube that on the video I had mentioned that I did not like the look of a large solid stamp (like the butterfly I used on the sample toward the end of the video). However, a customer today said she liked it. So I guess any bold image would work. I hope you enjoy this latest video. Let me know what you think of it.
