Economical Use of Making Memories Slice

When using my Slice machine I have found that I have wasted lots of cardstock. The machine tends to cut the item in a random spot. When cutting several of the same image, I have had trouble in the past trying to save cardstock because I just couldn't figure out where the second and third image should be cut out of my cardstock. I finally determined a simple way to use my cardstock conservatively. I hope you'll enjoy this technique as shown on the video. I would love to hear what you think of this concept.

Apologies

Again, I must apologize. I have spent quite a bit of time getting my website back up to speed. I hope you will check it out at http://www.stampingontheplateau.com/. There are quite a few new features that I think are extra nice. But I'm looking for more feedback.

I am having lots of trouble with my latest video on this blog. It freezes right after starting. If anyone knows how to get videos to work, I would appreciate some information. I have used Movie Maker to publish a movie with headers. Is there an issue with Movie Maker of which I'm unaware? I will keep working, so please don't give up on this blog. I have very good intentions.

Product Performers Catalogs

Product Performers came up with a new idea for distributing catalogs to my customers. I am once again having trouble with my website so I am giving you the option to view the catalogs here. However, I am in the process of migrating my website to a different service. I'm hoping it will be up and running this week.

This is not the intent of this blog, but in order to get the information distributed, I will share it here this time. Please let me know if there is anything that you would like to have, and I will place it on my next order to Product Performers. Wasn't this a great idea? You can view the catalog at Tim Holtz Catalog.

Their latest supplement is also available to you at Product Performers Spring Supplement.

Dreamweaver Stencils with Paste Spreader

At the 2011 Winter CHA Show Kristi Parker Van-Doren demoed the use of the Paste Spreader. Look at the ease with which she spreads the paste. When using the icing spreader, you really can't go back over the paste as you can with this new spreader. I always have a tendency to do that. I don't know about you, but I think this is a great improvement over the icing spreader that has been used in the past.

Smooch Spritz Demo at Alvin & Co. Booth

We stopped at the Alvin booth at the 2011 Winter CHA Show and had the pleasure of meeting a very sweet person who was demoing Smooch Spritz. I liked what she did with the die cuts as a resist and as an embellishment.

Tim Holtz Demos Distress Stains at the 2011 Winter CHA Show

The first booth that we visited when the CHA show opened was the Ranger booth to see Tim Holtz. He was gracious as usual in letting me make a video of his demo. If you ever get an opportunity to take one of his classes, be sure to sign up. He is such a great teacher! In this video Tim displays the use of his new Distress Stains. All of the 12 colors are currently in stock.

2011 Winter CHA Show with Tsukineko

Our lovely demonstrator, Kazuko, showed us several of the newest Tsukineko products. I first asked about the StazOn Metallic Pads. She then expanded her demo to include GlazOn. I had GlazOn in the shop, but it is currently sold out. More will be coming soon.
