At the winter CHA Show Marianne Walker was such a sweetheart to demo the use of one of her templates found in her book, Shadows & Shading: A beginner’s guide to lighting placement. She did such a nice job showing us how easy it is to use her technique. You might want to get one of her books. It is written for the non-artist. It certainly made me look at the world of light and shadow differently. I should have done a little editing on this video, but I wanted you to be able to see it. And my editing skills are just not what they should be. I'm still learning. Enjoy!
My name is Brenda Preuss, and I was the owner of Stamping on the Plateau. As of January 1, 2017, Bob Wyrick (the previous owner of Picture Perfect/This Old Glove) and I have joined forces to create a new store, commonly known as FACS. I plan to use this blog to introduce you to new classes to be held at FACS along with some simple techniques. This should begin in February, 2017

Another oldie but goodie uses Bleeding Tissue Paper, white matte cardstock and a twist - Spray Starch to create this beautiful background. Check it out on this video.
